Two-week ship plan
Week 1: Client
verification + hosting decision
- Day 1 (EASY): Send Clark the verification ask —
confirm Zechariah 12:6-10 was the intended #64 reference (originally
typo’d as Zech 17:6-10).
- Day 2 (MEDIUM): Hosting decision call with Clark.
Options:
- IONOS (Sandi’s existing account · matches her stack · ~$5/mo)
- Hostinger (Shawn’s existing infrastructure · slightly more
flexible)
- Vercel (free for static, but Vercel deploy ties to Shawn’s
account)
- Recommendation: IONOS (matches her habits, simple cPanel deploy,
sandboxed from her other work).
- Day 3 (EASY): Domain DNS configuration. Point
freedomroadministries.org → chosen host.
- Day 4-5: Wait for DNS propagation + SSL cert
provisioning.
Week 2: Deploy + QA + handoff
- Day 6 (MEDIUM): First deploy to production. Upload
all 6 HTML + assets/ + css/ + js/ + sitemap.xml + robots.txt.
- Day 7 (MEDIUM): Cross-browser QA. Use BrowserStack
or test physically: Chrome · Firefox · Safari · Edge · mobile Chrome ·
mobile Safari.
- Day 8 (MEDIUM): Mobile responsive QA. Real device
testing if possible.
- Day 9 (EASY): Run Lighthouse audit. Target 90+ on
Performance · Accessibility · SEO.
- Day 10 (EASY): 4xx check across all internal links
· external resource links · embedded YouTube IDs in music.html.
- Day 11 (EASY): Submit sitemap.xml to Google Search
Console · Bing Webmaster.
- Day 12 (MEDIUM): Walk-through with Clark on a
screen-share. Get final sign-off.
- Day 13: Address any final feedback from Clark.
- Day 14: LIVE. Engagement closed
(handoff).
What this plan assumes
- Clark responds within 48h on the Zech verification (it’s a 5-min
lookup for him)
- Hosting decision can be made in one call (~30 min)
- DNS propagates within 24h (typical · sometimes 48h)
- No unexpected Lighthouse failures (current site code is clean;
should pass)
- Clark doesn’t request structural changes during final
walkthrough
If Clark requests a structural change (new page · major rewrite), the
engagement extends · a new project-based fee may apply (per per-pitch
pricing memory).
Post-launch (out of
scope unless re-engaged)
